About EST

Sosa Henkoma: From Lived Experience to Leading Change.

As the founder of EST (Everybody Stands Together) and director of HUNNA, my commitment is deeply rooted in my own lived experience as a survivor of Child Criminal Exploitation (CCE). Identified at 21 after enduring 11 years of exploitation, I now channel that experience and hard-earned expertise into advocating for survivors and protecting young people at risk.

I firmly believe in the power of lived experience to drive genuine understanding and impactful solutions. My journey provides a unique lens, allowing me to connect with individuals and organisations on a profound level and offer insights often missed.

Recognising that collaboration is essential for lasting change, I actively bridge gaps and foster understanding across various sectors. As a school governor, charity trustee, co-founder of The Human Trafficking Foundations (HTF) L.E.A.P, and ambassador for numerous incredible organisations, I am dedicated to building a unified movement against exploitation.

I offer a range of services – including Public Speaking, Life Coaching, Mentoring, Training, and Policy & Legislation Advising – all informed by my direct experience and a collaborative spirit. Engage with me to motivate your audience, build powerful partnerships, and contribute to a world where young people are safe and supported.

Let’s change the
future together.

Too often, professionals are expected to understand exploitation from a textbook, but the reality is far more complex. I have lived it.

Public Speaking

Are you ready to inspire your audience with a message of resilience, strength, courage, and unwavering determination? In addition to my expertise in training, I bring a powerful voice as a keynote and guest speaker, captivating audiences with my personal journey.

My core message emphasises the incredible power of the human spirit, not just in overcoming personal challenges, but also in sparking positive change in those around us. I strive to connect deeply with audiences, whether I’m guest lecturing at universities or delivering impactful keynote speeches at major conferences and events.

This year, my dedication to ending child criminal exploitation took me to the OSCE conferences in Vienna, where I delivered a compelling call to action, both online and in person.

If you’re seeking a speaker who can touch hearts, challenge perspectives, and leave a meaningful impact on resilience and the power of change, don’t hesitate to book me for your event.

As a guest lecturer at St. Mary’s University, Twickenham, I equip future professionals with a deep understanding of criminal exploitation and the importance of supporting vulnerable individuals. My work also contributes to research and policy, which is highlighted by my involvement in Project Restart (Causeway).

I am committed to making a positive impact on the criminal justice system. At Crime Con 2023, I was recognised as ‘Crime Fighter of the Year’.

Training & Workshops

Ready to gain insights from real-life experiences? My training packages offer a unique exploration of vulnerabilities that can lead to exploitation. We’ll navigate the care system, discuss the impacts of adultification and bias at a young age, and examine the effects of childhood trauma from parental abandonment.

I provide a deeper understanding of these experiences and the barriers professionals face when helping youth. The most transformative part comes at the end: practical strategies for supporting young people in adversity and changing their narratives.

These packages will equip you with empathy and actionable steps to make a significant impact. Let’s move beyond theory to create lasting change. Book now to start this important journey.

Lasting change.

At EST (Everybody Stands Together), we empower individuals to overcome challenges and drive lasting change. Our formula is simple: Collaboration + Opportunities = Growth. We raise awareness through training and public speaking, and we provide opportunities through workshops and projects for young people and professionals. This approach fosters growth in both mindset and environment.

Every Step Toward
Meaningful Change

At EST, our values are more than words—they are the foundation of everything we do. Born from lived experience and driven by a vision for a better future.

Lived Experience

We believe that true understanding comes from experience. At EST, our roots in lived experience with child exploitation give us a vital, authentic perspective.

Systemic Change

Real progress demands more than quick fixes—it requires structural transformation. At EST, systemic change is our compass. We confront outdated systems and champion bold.

Collaboration

No one can end child exploitation alone. At EST (Everybody Stands Together), we foster deep collaboration across individuals, organizations, academia, and criminal justice.

Stories from
Our Supporters

I’ve seen Sosa speak in multiple settings now- to professionals in charity settings, and also statutory services. People are always so captivated and hang on his every word. The way he gets people to relate to his story and then want to help address the problems is inspiring. He is doing so much amazing work and making a real impact in an area where positive changes are so not forty coming. It’s an honour to know Sosa and see him continue this journey to help the vulnerable. l urge you to reach out to him for help!!!

We were fortunate enough to welcome Sosa Henkoma to our whole service conference, ‘Looking Back to Move Forward’. Over 120 staff from across our adolescent service were in attendance, the breadth of roles within the audience was vast but what he shared was relevant to all and delivered in an inclusive style. Sosa shared his owr journey with us, highlighting how as professionals we can support our most vulnerable young people. Everyone in the room was captivated and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Sosa was authentic, professional and honest. Quote from one of the attendees ‘The speaker was amazing, really made a point about engagement that made a difference to me.

Sosa has worked really well with our organisation and his passion for the work that he does is really powerful for both staff and our participants to see! It is very rare that you find a professional that is willing to speak to people on a level they understand but also Sosa has created an environment for even staff to be able to ask questions in a way that is valued and understood but also puts the work we do in perspective that often highlights areas of development. He has attended one of our groups and it was very interesting how he communicated his journey and offered real advice to people who were actively involved in crimes that they had been struggling to get away from. Hopefully we will continue to work with him and bring more support for young people that is realistic and pushes away from numbers to more human responses! Highly recommend!

Sosa is an up-and-coming consultant in the field of Lived Experience. I have had the opportunity to work with him on site assessments for modern slavery in warehousing and logistics, as well as in various public speaking engagements. Sosa has a remarkable ability to put people at ease and encourage them to share their own experiences. He is an inspiration to me and a joy to work with.
