Stories from
Our Supporters

I’ve seen Sosa speak in multiple settings now- to professionals in charity settings, and also statutory services. People are always so captivated and hang on his every word. The way he gets people to relate to his story and then want to help address the problems is inspiring. He is doing so much amazing work and making a real impact in an area where positive changes are so not forty coming. It’s an honour to know Sosa and see him continue this journey to help the vulnerable. l urge you to reach out to him for help!!!

We were fortunate enough to welcome Sosa Henkoma to our whole service conference, ‘Looking Back to Move Forward’. Over 120 staff from across our adolescent service were in attendance, the breadth of roles within the audience was vast but what he shared was relevant to all and delivered in an inclusive style. Sosa shared his owr journey with us, highlighting how as professionals we can support our most vulnerable young people. Everyone in the room was captivated and feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Sosa was authentic, professional and honest. Quote from one of the attendees ‘The speaker was amazing, really made a point about engagement that made a difference to me.

Sosa has worked really well with our organisation and his passion for the work that he does is really powerful for both staff and our participants to see! It is very rare that you find a professional that is willing to speak to people on a level they understand but also Sosa has created an environment for even staff to be able to ask questions in a way that is valued and understood but also puts the work we do in perspective that often highlights areas of development. He has attended one of our groups and it was very interesting how he communicated his journey and offered real advice to people who were actively involved in crimes that they had been struggling to get away from. Hopefully we will continue to work with him and bring more support for young people that is realistic and pushes away from numbers to more human responses! Highly recommend!

Sosa is an up-and-coming consultant in the field of Lived Experience. I have had the opportunity to work with him on site assessments for modern slavery in warehousing and logistics, as well as in various public speaking engagements. Sosa has a remarkable ability to put people at ease and encourage them to share their own experiences. He is an inspiration to me and a joy to work with.
